In 2016, the director of Officer Involved met the president of Saving a Hero's Place at the TMPA Conference in Irving, Texas. It was there that they forged an immediate bond. Their documentary began filming on June 2, 2018 with a cross-country road trip where 4-honor chairs were delivered to departments of fallen officers. This documentary gives an in-depth look at the people and stories behind Saving a Hero's Place while showing the magnitude of effort behind this small group of friends brought together by tragedy.

We proudly thank our friends at The Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) and ReLEntless Defender Apparel for their enabling contributions to our work on this film.
